Job Description Summary

The University of Leeds is seeking an Associate Professor or Lecturer in International Public Health to join the Nuffield Centre for International Health & Development. This role offers an exciting opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and deliver outstanding education in a world-class institution.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver a planned programme of research and innovation in public health, communicable disease control, or primary healthcare service delivery in low-middle income countries (LMICs).
  • Maintain a record of high-quality research outputs, including publications and conference presentations.
  • Attract research funding individually and collaboratively to support your research plan.
  • Contribute to the delivery of exceptional student education through teaching, mentoring, and curriculum development.
  • Participate in health services development and knowledge transfer activities in LMICs.
  • Contribute to administrative processes and committee structures within the institute and faculty.
