Job Description Summary

The University of Leeds is seeking a collaborative and self-motivated Research Fellow to join their prestigious NIHR ARC YH Dementia Capacity Building Postdoctoral Training Programme. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in dementia prevention and care improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Generate and pursue original research ideas in dementia prevention and care
  • Develop research objectives and proposals, contributing to the direction of the research project and team
  • Evaluate methods, techniques, and results from other researchers, relating them to your own work
  • Communicate research results through publications and other recognized forms of output
  • Prepare papers for leading international journals and write independent reports
  • Work both independently and as part of a larger research team, engaging in knowledge-transfer activities
  • Maintain continuing professional development and mentor less experienced colleagues
  • Contribute to the research culture of the School and the training of undergraduate and postgraduate students
