Core Responsibilities of the Interior Architect Position

Comprehensive Project Management

As an Interior Architect in our firm, you’ll take ownership of entire interior design projects from conception to completion. This holistic approach allows you to maintain quality control throughout while ensuring your creative vision is executed properly at every stage.

Conceptual Design Development

Your creativity will be constantly engaged as you develop multiple design concepts for each client. This iterative process continues until client approval, allowing you to refine and perfect your ideas while responding to client feedback and requirements.

Technical Design Implementation

You’ll transform conceptual designs into practical reality by: – Creating detailed 2D and 3D plans using specialized software – Developing unique concepts tailored to each project’s specific needs – Producing professional presentations for client meetings – Sourcing appropriate materials and furnishings from suppliers

Client Relationship Management

Your interpersonal skills will be essential as you: – Present design concepts and revisions to clients – Guide clients through all available options – Maintain regular communication throughout the project lifecycle – Support customers in their choices until final project delivery

Industry Awareness & Trend Research

Success in this role requires staying current with emerging design trends. Your natural curiosity will drive you to continuously research innovative approaches, materials, and concepts that keep your work fresh and forward-thinking.

Qualifications for the Interior Architect Position

Education & Experience Requirements

• Formal training/degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar interior architecture role
• Demonstrated portfolio showing professional space design capabilities

Technical Skills

• Mastery of Pcon planner and Sketchup software
• Additional design program knowledge is advantageous
• Bilingual proficiency in English and French
