Job Description Summary

Lead environmental management initiatives across Mondi’s converting operations in the EU, focusing on reducing greenhouse gas emissions, ensuring ISO14001 compliance, and driving sustainable development through MAP2030 Climate & Environment roadmaps.

Environmental Management Responsibilities

• Spearhead environmental performance improvement initiatives across local operations, with particular emphasis on converting operations and greenhouse gas emissions reduction
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Sustainable Development Management System guidelines, maintaining alignment with ISO14001 standards
• Develop and maintain an environmental managers’ network for converting operations, providing expert guidance and support for environmental reporting accuracy
• Conduct comprehensive environmental audits and site visits, focusing on converting operations, and provide detailed reports with actionable recommendations
• Lead the implementation of MAP2030 Climate & Environment roadmaps across Business Units
• Assess and analyze environmental performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to drive continuous environmental performance enhancement
