Job Description Summary

Lancaster University is seeking a dynamic and visionary leader for the role of Dean for Culture and Inclusion. This role focuses on driving equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) strategies across the University to create a welcoming and equitable environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead institution-wide EDI strategies and initiatives.
  • Oversee the Anti-Harassment and Bullying Team and related projects.
  • Champion cultural change and foster inclusivity in research, teaching, and engagement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate EDI principles into decision-making.
  • Act as an ambassador for Lancaster University in EDI forums at various levels.
  • Monitor and address disparities and underrepresentation within the University.
