Job Description Summary
Allseas is seeking a skilled Crew Discipline Planner to join our dynamic Crew Operations Department. This role is crucial in preparing and managing the planning of all personnel required for offshore operations, ensuring a well-balanced and efficient allocation of resources across our fleet.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive personnel planning system for all Allseas vessels within your assigned discipline
- Serve as the primary point of contact for crew members and discipline-specific departments regarding planning matters
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including HR, Disciplines, VMT, L&D, and Crew departments
- Act as a proactive liaison between all units within Crew Operations to ensure seamless communication and coordination
- Collaborate closely with Operations Managers to address long-term resource requirements and strategic planning
- Engage in discussions with discipline managers to determine and refine resource requirements
- Provide valuable input to the Crew Operations Team Lead regarding planning and special requirements
- Identify and communicate structural crew personnel shortages or surpluses to Operations and HR, recommending appropriate actions
- Offer support to crew operations teams in addressing short-term planning challenges
- Strive for consistent and well-balanced crew planning within your assigned discipline
- Maintain up-to-date handbooks, standard operating procedures, and checklists
- Coordinate with vessels to optimize crew composition and experience distribution
- Collaborate with HR to facilitate career development opportunities for crew members
