Job Description Summary
Imperial College London’s Department of Bioengineering is seeking to appoint up to two outstanding senior academics (Reader or Professor level) to join their internationally renowned team advancing bioengineering research and education.
Responsibilities
- Develop and lead cutting-edge research in bioengineering at the highest scientific level
- Apply for research funding and manage resources including research teams for successful grants
- Teach and examine courses at all levels (undergraduate, MSc, and PhD) through various teaching methodologies
- Contribute to curriculum development and advancement of teaching and assessment methods
- Participate in departmental, faculty, and university-wide administrative and leadership activities
- Support the department’s strategic mission across biomedical engineering, biological engineering, and biomimetics
