Job Description Summary

The School of Built Environment, Engineering and Computing at Leeds Beckett University seeks a dynamic Business Development Officer to expand their apprenticeship programs and strengthen employer partnerships. This part-time role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the future of professional education.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage with existing employer partners to foster repeat business and maintain strong relationships
  • Initiate and develop new employer partnership opportunities across the School’s Apprenticeships portfolio
  • Drive consistent application numbers to meet departmental targets
  • Manage and enhance the employer experience across Apprenticeship programmes
  • Collaborate with the School Head of Degree Apprenticeships to implement growth strategies
  • Build and maintain the university’s reputation as a leading apprenticeships provider
  • Contribute to the school’s relationship with external stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels
  • Monitor and incorporate employer feedback for continuous program improvement
  • Support business development initiatives for Partnership Programmes with colleges and local providers
