Job Description Summary

The Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (MTP) research group at the University of Hertfordshire seeks an ambitious Postdoctoral Research Fellow to develop an independent research programme while contributing to the group’s existing research strengths.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and pursue an independent research programme in mathematics and/or theoretical physics
  • Produce high-quality research outputs for publication in peer-reviewed journals
  • Engage in collaborative projects with MTP research group members
  • Contribute to the group’s academic environment through seminar series and journal clubs
  • Participate in light teaching duties for professional development
  • Present research findings at conferences and symposia
  • Conduct literature reviews and maintain knowledge of current research trends
