Job Description Summary
The University of Leeds is seeking a Research Fellow in Social Care Research and Development to join their world-leading research team in the School of Healthcare. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to impactful applied research, focusing on enhancing the quality of life and care for people accessing social care services.
Responsibilities
- Conduct high-quality social care research aligned with the School’s focus areas, including Ageing Well and Quality and Safety
- Collaborate with world-leading researchers to deliver the School’s ambitious social care research portfolio
- Develop and lead research projects, ensuring they address questions that matter for social care
- Write grant proposals to secure funding and sustain research activities
- Work closely with a range of partners, including people accessing social care, their families, care staff, providers, and commissioners
- Contribute to the development of research capacity and skills within the School
- Mobilize knowledge to make a difference in practice and policy
- Utilize various research methods, including big data analysis, social network analysis, and qualitative and mixed methods studies
- Participate in complex intervention development and evaluation
