📋 Responsibilities

🤝 Community Engagement Leadership

  • Lead Generation & Community Building: Serve as the primary face of Lakeridge Health Foundation in the community, cultivating meaningful relationships with local businesses, community leaders, and civic groups
  • Strategic Partnership Development: Collaborate with internal teams to align community outreach efforts with comprehensive donor strategies and research initiatives
  • Public Speaking & Representation: Deliver compelling remarks at events and engage in planned public speaking opportunities to represent the Foundation’s mission

🎪 Event Management Excellence

  • Signature Event Oversight: Provide strategic leadership and support to the Events Officer in executing high-profile fundraising events including Ride for the ’Ridge, NightShift, Golf Classic, and annual Gala
  • Experience Enhancement: Ensure all events create memorable, mission-driven experiences that resonate with attendees and sponsors while maximizing fundraising potential
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver seamless event experiences that strengthen community engagement

💰 Annual Giving Program Development

  • Portfolio Management: Inspire and coach the Officer, Annual Giving in executing comprehensive multi-channel fundraising strategies targeting donors under $1,000
  • Channel Optimization: Oversee direct mail campaigns, monthly giving programs, tribute donations, tele-fundraising initiatives, and grateful patient donor programs
  • Performance Enhancement: Implement data-driven strategies to improve donor retention and acquisition across all annual giving channels

🌱 Community Engagement Strategy

  • Peer-to-Peer Fundraising: Support the Community Engagement Officer in executing focused retention, growth, and stewardship strategies for peer-to-peer fundraising and cause-marketing initiatives
  • Strategic Development: Create and implement overarching strategies to enhance community engagement portfolios, including new resource allocation and community promotion efforts
  • Innovation Implementation: Drive innovative approaches to community engagement that align with evolving donor preferences and market trends
