Role Overview: Non-Financial Risk Manager Position
The Non-Financial Risk Manager position sits within the prestigious Clearstream Risk Management (CRM) team, reporting directly to the Chief Risk Officer of Clearstream. This role represents a unique opportunity to shape risk management strategies at one of Europe’s leading financial institutions.
Key Responsibilities in Risk Management
- Develop and implement comprehensive risk assessment frameworks for identifying, measuring, and monitoring non-financial risks across the Clearstream Group
- Collaborate with business units to create and refine risk scenarios and corresponding risk indicators
- Lead the validation process for identified non-financial risks, ensuring completeness and accuracy
- Drive proactive risk management practices by providing expert advice and support to business units
- Enhance risk awareness within the corporate culture through effective communication and training
- Design and maintain cutting-edge risk concepts, policies, and procedures
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics, Mathematics, or related fields
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Non-Financial Risk Management, IT Audit, or IT Consulting
- Strong background in financial services, preferably in international banking or securities processing
- Proficiency in programming languages, particularly Python (advantageous)
- In-depth knowledge of risk management regulations and frameworks
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Outstanding communication skills with fluency in English
