Job Description Summary

The Salvation Army’s Broadview Village seeks a dedicated Full-Time Residential Counsellor to provide comprehensive support to adults with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage individual support planning (ISP) programs while advocating for residents’ needs
  • Provide direct support for personal development and daily living activities
  • Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation
  • Create and facilitate learning opportunities using agency and community resources
  • Supervise and assist residents with meal preparation and housekeeping duties
  • Maintain facility cleanliness and adherence to health and safety protocols
  • Provide orientation and support to team members, students, and family members

This position requires on-site presence at our Toronto location (Broadview Avenue and O’Connor Drive area). The role involves direct resident interaction and cannot be performed remotely.
