Job Description Summary 🔍
The University of York’s Computer Science Department is seeking a Research Trainee to join an innovative project focused on developing a data quality analysis and control platform for monitoring aquaculture species using underwater drone-mounted cameras and advanced deep learning techniques.
Responsibilities 📋
- Support the research project’s daily operations and contribute to overall program objectives
- Develop and implement deep learning algorithms for underwater image processing and analysis
- Design and optimize control algorithms for drone maneuverability in aquatic environments
- Conduct experiments and field work related to aquaculture monitoring
- Process and analyze video data using computer vision techniques
