Job Description Summary Of Research Nurse: Pediatric Cancer Cell
Stanford University School of Medicine is seeking a dedicated Life Science Research Professional 1 to join the CNC (Cracking the Neural Code) Program. This full-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research on neural circuitry of psychiatric conditions such as depression, fear, and anxiety in animal models.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform experiments in support of research projects, both in lab and field settings
- Interpret and conduct basic analyses of experimental results
- Maintain detailed records of experiments and outcomes
- Review scientific literature to stay current with new procedures and related research
- Contribute to the publication of research findings and preparation of written documents
- Assist in general lab maintenance, including managing stock, chemical inventory, and safety records
