Job Description Summary

The Brighton and Sussex Health Partnership (HRP) is seeking a Senior Research Methodology Advisor specializing in Statistics and Epidemiology to support early career health and care researchers. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of research capacity in Sussex and shape methodological support strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Provide practical methodological support to early career researchers in health and care
  • Enhance the quality of research proposals and increase funding success rates
  • Contribute to building research skills within the HRP community
  • Support the HRP Leadership team in shaping methodological support strategies
  • Advise on study design, qualitative methods, statistical methods, and data analysis
  • Collaborate with the Brighton and Sussex Clinical Trials Unit and Joint Clinical Research Office
  • Work closely with expert statisticians at the Medical School and clinical colleagues at local NHS Trusts
  • Challenge and provide constructive feedback on research designs
  • Contribute to the strategic development of research capacity in the region
