Job Description Summary
The University of Hertfordshire is seeking a dedicated Post Award Coordinator to join their Research Office. This role is crucial in supporting the delivery of externally and internally funded research projects, providing expert advice and guidance to academic staff and professional services on processes and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Support the successful set-up and delivery of research projects
- Monitor grant expenditure and ensure reporting deadlines are met
- Collate and archive timesheets for specific projects
- Assist award holders with post-award administrative tasks, including recruitment and procurement
- Collaborate with the Research Finance Team to monitor project budgets and expenditure
- Ensure research income is effectively utilized
- Establish and maintain office procedures
- Work accurately under pressure to meet tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively with various stakeholders
