Liverpool John Moores University (LJMU) is seeking a talented and motivated Research Fellow in Palaeontology to join their School of Biological and Environmental Sciences. Responsibilities

• Develop and conduct individual and collaborative research projects, acting as principal investigator where appropriate
• Extend, transform, and apply knowledge acquired from scholarship to research and appropriate external activities
• Make presentations at conferences, exhibit work in other appropriate events, and write up research work for publication
• Contribute to the development of new models, techniques, and methods in palaeontology research
• Analyze and interpret data, prepare and submit papers for presentation at regional, national, or international conferences
• Assist with the planning, coordination, and implementation of research projects
• Manage research resources and budgets, ensuring effective use
• Identify potential sources of funding and contribute to the process of securing funds
• Work closely with the Principal Investigator and team to integrate fossil footprint and musculoskeletal models
• Publish results in relevant subject-specific and generalist peer-reviewed journals
• Liaise with the external research community via seminars and conferences
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of commercial and consultancy activities
• Coach and support more junior colleagues in developing their research techniques
• Contribute to a supportive working environment and develop productive working relationships with other team members
