Warwick Business School (WBS) is seeking a dedicated and innovative Houlden Fellow specializing in Operations Management. Responsibilities
Research and Scholarship 📚
- Establish a solid research foundation within the department, contributing to the development of research objectives and proposals.
- Support faculty members with their research initiatives, including assistance with data collection and analysis.
- Write and publish high-quality research papers in reputable academic journals.
- Stay abreast of advancements in operations management and translate this knowledge into impactful research activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of research proposals and funding applications to external bodies.
- Effectively communicate complex information, both orally and in writing, on specialized or highly technical subjects.
- Continuously update personal knowledge and understanding in the field of operations management.
Teaching and Learning Support 🎓

- Engage in light marking duties, with teaching responsibilities not exceeding 30% of the total workload.
- Assist in supervising student projects and fostering the development of student research skills.

Administration and Other Activities 📋
- Attend departmental meetings and participate in minor administrative tasks as required.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations in all aspects of work.
- Work effectively within budget constraints and departmental guidelines.
- Perform administrative duties associated with WBS teaching programs.
- Act as a personal tutor for a small number of undergraduate and master’s students.
