Job Description Summary
The University of Luxembourg’s Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT) seeks a highly motivated Research Associate to join their Signal Processing and Communications (SIGCOM) research group. This role focuses on innovation strategy and management in wireless and satellite communications, with an emphasis on 5G and beyond networks.
Responsibilities
- Promote SIGCOM’s activities and strategic agenda within international associations
- Participate in online and in-person meetings, with frequent travel (up to 1/3 of working time)
- Assist in managing ongoing European and national projects
- Prepare future project proposals
- Contribute to research in areas such as IoT verticals, unmanned aerial vehicles, integrated satellite-terrestrial networks, and quantum communications
- Collaborate with industry partners and other researchers on cutting-edge projects
