Job Description Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking a Research Assistant to join the Children and Young People’s Mental Health (ChARM) group. This fixed-term position supports the National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR) funded ATTEND program, evaluating a novel mindfulness intervention for adolescents with relapsed depression.

Responsibilities

  • Support the successful running of a multisite hybrid clinical and cost-effectiveness randomized controlled trial
  • Ensure data collection across trial sites and support other Research Assistants
  • Assist with recruitment and assessment of young people and carers
  • Support intervention delivery and manage data entry
  • Liaise with the wider study team, including collaborators at various universities and NHS trusts
  • Contribute to the development of research proposals and grant applications
