Renewable Energy Teaching Position: Key Responsibilities

The University of Exeter is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lecturer in Renewable Energy to join their prestigious Renewable Energy Group within the Department of Engineering. Core Teaching Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver engaging teaching materials for undergraduate and postgraduate Renewable Energy Engineering programs
  • Apply appropriate teaching methodologies, learning support, and assessment techniques to enhance student learning
  • Supervise student projects and academic elements of field trips and placements
  • Identify areas for curriculum improvement and contribute to planning, designing, and developing educational objectives
  • Create fair assessment instruments and criteria to effectively evaluate student progress
  • Provide constructive feedback to support student development and learning
  • Set, mark, and assess coursework and examinations according to university standards
  • Ensure module design and delivery comply with University and Faculty quality standards
  • Contribute actively to the general operations of the Faculty as a valued academic team member
