Manchester United Foundation is hiring a dedicated Purchase Ledger and Finance Administrator to manage supplier payments, process invoices, and ensure effective financial operations at its Old Trafford Stadium location in Manchester. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for candidates with previous experience in accounting or finance administration.

• Manage and monitor the Accounts Payable mailbox and respond to vendor queries.
• Process incoming invoices and ensure they are posted into the finance system (GP).
• Conduct monthly and mid-month payment runs, including manual payments and reconciliations.
• Raise purchase orders (POs) as per budget holders’ requests.
• Assist in preparing PO accruals and tracking PO statuses in collaboration with the Management Accountant.
• Collect, verify, and update timesheets for payroll submission, ensuring version control.
• Post credit card transactions with proper coding after consulting team members.
• Help with preparing month-end journals, staff expenses, and ledger reconciliations.
• Provide support for audit preparation and ensure timely file management.
• Serve as a backup for the Sales Ledger Administrator when needed.
• Assist with onboarding and training new PO system users.
