Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Postdoctoral Researcher to join the Mathematics and Theoretical Physics (MTP) research group at the University of Hertfordshire. This EPSRC-funded position offers the chance to contribute to cutting-edge research in exceptional generalised geometry and supersymmetric string theory.
Responsibilities
- Conduct original research in areas including generalised geometry, supersymmetric string backgrounds, and moduli spaces
- Publish research findings in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals
- Contribute to the group’s seminar series and journal clubs
- Assist in supervising graduate students and potentially undertake light teaching duties
- Collaborate with team members on research projects and publications
- Present research findings at national and international conferences
