Job Description Summary
An exciting opportunity for a motivated educator to join King’s College London as a Lecturer in Pharmacology Education, focusing on undergraduate teaching while contributing to pedagogical research and curriculum development within the Faculty of Life Sciences & Medicine.
🔬 Pharmacology Education Role: Shaping Future Healthcare Professionals
Responsibilities
- Deliver and enhance content of modules within the Department of Pharmacology & Therapeutics
- Run modules and facilitate their delivery across undergraduate programs
- Contribute to the strategic vision of Pharmacology education within the Faculty’s School of Bioscience Education
- Provide academic and pastoral support to students
- Collaborate with colleagues across the Faculty and wider university
- Potentially deliver short-term (6 weeks) Pharmacology teaching at partner University in Shenzhen, China
- Contribute to pedagogical research and scholarship (up to 20% of time)
- Maintain and develop high-quality education and learning standards
- Participate in curriculum design and development initiatives
- Build a national/international profile in learning and teaching research

Essential Requirements:
