Job Description Summary

The University of Leicester’s School of Healthcare is seeking a part-time Lecturer in Pharmacist Prescribing to support the growing demand for their pharmacist prescribing program. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a practicing prescribing pharmacist to develop their education and training skills while contributing to a dynamic and expanding pharmacy team.

Responsibilities

• Create and deliver course materials for blended learning in the pharmacist independent prescribing program
• Provide advisor support to trainee pharmacist prescribers and their allocated work-based tutors
• Contribute to and undertake assessment activities for the program
• Participate in school, college, and university governance and quality assurance processes
• Develop personal teaching and assessment skills
• Maintain current clinical prescribing practice
• Work autonomously and independently to lead own tasks and goals
• Deliver face-to-face sessions as part of the program team, occasionally traveling within England and Northern Ireland
