Job Description Summary
The University of Cambridge is seeking a highly organized and efficient PA Secretary & Group Administrator to support Professor Peter Hutchinson and the Research Group within the Department of Clinical Neurosciences. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking neuroscience research at one of the world’s leading academic institutions.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative and PA support to senior staff, including the Head of Department and Professors
- Manage and coordinate diaries, ensuring efficient time management and prioritization
- Organize events and meetings, handling logistics and preparation of materials
- Support committees and departmental meetings, including drafting agendas and minutes
- Monitor expenditure against budget and process financial transactions
- Maintain and update departmental webpages and staff databases
- Act as the first point of contact for enquiries, responding accurately and referring as appropriate
- Collate and distribute agendas and supporting papers for meetings and events
- Arrange travel and accommodation for staff and visitors when necessary
