Join the Department of Chemistry at King’s College London as a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Organometallic Chemistry. This 2.5-year fixed-term position focuses on synthesizing and characterizing bimetallic complexes that mimic the Acetyl Co-enzyme A Synthase cofactor, in collaboration with Imperial College London.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize and characterize bimetallic complexes relevant to organometallic chemistry.
• Utilize Schlenk line and glovebox techniques for handling air- and moisture-sensitive materials.
• Employ spectroscopic methods (NMR, IR, UV-vis, EPR) and other analytical techniques like magnetometry and cyclic voltammetry.
• Collaborate with researchers at King’s College London and Imperial College London.
• Prepare research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
