Job Description Summary

📊 An exciting 12-month placement opportunity for Finance & Accounting students looking to gain hands-on experience in NHS financial management while developing professional skills in a supportive healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the provision of financial services to Trust budget holders while based in the Management Accounts Team
  • Engage in project work that enables the Finance department to achieve its objectives
  • Develop communication skills with a diverse range of NHS professionals
  • Work independently under pressure while maintaining professional standards
  • Apply and enhance Excel skills in real-world financial scenarios
  • Gain practical insight into NHS organization, funding, and performance management
  • Build professional relationships with colleagues both within and outside the organization
  • Present work through formal presentations as part of the selection process
