King’s College London is hiring a Multi-Skilled Handyperson to support planned and routine maintenance across the Strand Campus. This versatile on-site role involves M&E, fabric repairs, and compliance services in a collaborative engineering environment.
🎯 Responsibilities
- Complete multi-trade maintenance tasks to a high standard, including M&E, emergency light testing, and fire bell checks.
- Undertake routine and reactive maintenance tasks and minor repairs, such as door adjustments, flooring, and decorating.
- Perform visual inspections of mechanical and electrical systems and raise issues for remediation.
- Collaborate with Technicians to complete larger tasks and manage stock levels effectively.
- Maintain accurate documentation of completed maintenance and comply with all statutory and internal procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service to staff, students, and visitors across the King’s College campus.
- Support unplanned and compliance-related works.
- Work with external contractors and attend required training like “Fit for King’s”.
- Promote sustainability by complying with the College’s Environmental Policy.
