Job Description Summary
The University of Leicester is seeking up to three Associate Professors in Lifestyle as Medicine to join the prestigious Leicester Lifestyle Health and Research Group (LLHRG). This is an exciting opportunity for emerging research leaders to contribute to groundbreaking work in lifestyle interventions for preventing and managing long-term health conditions.
Responsibilities
- Lead innovative research projects in lifestyle medicine, focusing on areas such as physical activity, sedentary behavior, sleep, and nutrition
- Contribute to the development and success of LLHRG leading up to REF2029 and beyond
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to conduct epidemiological studies, experimental medicine, clinical trials, and implementation research
- Supervise and mentor PhD students and junior researchers
- Secure external funding and publish high-impact research papers
- Engage in knowledge transfer activities and community outreach programs
