Job Description Summary
A pivotal Library Officer role focusing on multicultural services at Maribyrnong Libraries’ Braybrook branch, requiring strong customer service skills, language proficiency, and program delivery capabilities to serve a diverse local community.
Responsibilities
- Provide welcoming, knowledgeable customer service, information assistance, and reader advisory services both in-branch and online
- Undertake administrative tasks supporting day-to-day operations including statistics recording, collection maintenance, and ensuring a safe environment
- Deliver first-line digital and technical support for library patrons, escalating complex issues when necessary
- Identify and implement community-responsive programs with particular emphasis on multicultural offerings
