Key Responsibilities of Legal Litigation Manager
The Legal Contentious Section Chief will play a crucial role in managing and developing POST Luxembourg’s legal strategy. Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a high-performing legal team, ensuring the achievement of departmental objectives
- Managing contentious cases from initial investigation through appeals, including court appearances, mediations, and arbitrations
- Overseeing various legal matters including banking law, criminal law, real estate, telecom-ICT, and postal regulations
- Supervising internal procedures and ensuring the quality of court submissions
- Managing annual litigation budget and expenses while ensuring efficient resource utilization
- Implementing process improvements to enhance team efficiency and resource optimization
- Aligning legal strategies with corporate objectives and recommending innovative legal approaches
- Utilizing data-driven decision-making approaches for litigation and risk reporting
Required Qualifications and Experience
Educational Background
- Master’s Degree in Law (Bac+5) with specialization in litigation
- Professional certifications in relevant legal areas are advantageous
Professional Experience
- Minimum 5 years of litigation experience in Luxembourg across multiple legal domains
- At least 3 years of proven managerial experience
- Demonstrated track record of successful case management and team leadership
