Job Description Summary
The University of Southampton Delhi is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Learning & Teaching to provide strategic leadership for educational activities at their Delhi campus. This pivotal role involves developing and implementing the campus education strategy, ensuring compliance with quality assurance frameworks, and fostering an outstanding student experience.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a campus education strategic plan aligned with the University’s overall education strategy
- Assume overall responsibility for compliance with the University’s quality assurance framework and UGC regulations
- Lead and promote the development of educational programs, ensuring they meet the standards of the main campus
- Work collaboratively with the Academic Provost, Campus Director, and other key stakeholders to enhance the student experience
- Chair the campus Education & Student Experience Committee and Quality and Standards Sub Committee
- Contribute to University-wide education initiatives and serve on relevant committees
- Foster relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, government, employers, and alumni
- Support staff development and performance evaluation in educational roles
- Promote a culture of equality, diversity, inclusion, and respect throughout the campus
