• Crown Land Portfolio Management 📊
  • Coordinate strategic planning and administration of the Department’s Crown land portfolio
  • Ensure all land management activities align with audit requirements and expected timeframes

1. Extensive knowledge of asset and contract management principles, issues, and government-related processes, including acquisition and disposal procedures for government real estate

The Infrastructure Division plays a vital role in the Department of Education, responsible for providing essential facilities including land, buildings, and equipment. The division handles demographic forecasting, facilities planning, strategic asset management, capital works programs, and maintenance and minor works programs.

The Infrastructure Strategy and Planning Directorate specifically focuses on longer-term strategic planning of land and building infrastructure, preparation of capital funding proposals, statistical and demographic planning, developing asset management and sustainability strategy and policy, land planning, undertaking land acquisition, and managing the Department’s land estate.
