The Stanford Nano Shared Facilities (SNSF) is seeking a Lab Operations Associate to support nanofabrication research operations within their Nanopatterning and Flexible Cleanrooms, managing day-to-day operations, chemical safety protocols, and hazardous waste management while providing technical training and support to researchers.
Responsibilities
- Cleanroom Operations Management 🧪
- Support general cleanroom operations, chemical safety systems, and hazardous waste management procedures
- Maintain optimal environmental conditions for sensitive nanofabrication processes
- Implement safety protocols and ensure regulatory compliance for all laboratory activities

Educational and Experience Requirements
The ideal candidate for this Laboratory Operations Associate position should possess:
- Associate degree or certificate of completion in a related engineering or scientific discipline, or three years of equivalent work experience or combination of education and relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge in cleanroom operations and maintenance
- Experience in nanofabrication, including direct-write photolithography, physical vapor deposition, dry etching, wet chemical processing, and metrology
- Chemical background preferred
