Job Description Summary
Royal Holloway, University of London, is seeking a talented Postdoctoral Fellow to contribute to a groundbreaking project in Advanced Eastern European Jewish Studies. This full-time, fixed-term position offers an exceptional opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research and shape the future of Holocaust Studies.
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent research in Global Jewish Studies, contributing to the project “Global Jewish Studies in/as Holocaust Studies”
- Teach undergraduate and MA modules as required, enhancing students’ understanding of Jewish and Holocaust Studies
- Deliver 1-2 masterclasses for postgraduate students, faculty, and Holocaust Research Institute (HRI) associates
- Advance the interests of the HRI within the wider scholarly community and engage with the public
- Collaborate with international scholars to integrate Jewish Studies and Holocaust Studies
- Contribute to the development of digital humanities methods related to Jewish Studies research
- Participate in academic conferences and publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
