• Provide first and second line IT and A/V support to all staff and students within the School
• Work closely with SAME’s Senior IT Officer to ensure smooth operation of all technical systems
• Liaise with the University’s IT Services and A/V team on larger projects and initiatives
• Stay informed about the latest technological developments in both IT & A/V fields
• Advise on appropriate IT & A/V setups for the School, considering both current needs and future requirements
• Take a lead role in setting up new equipment and ensuring it integrates well with existing systems
• Serve as the first point of contact for all IT & A/V inquiries from staff and students
• Perform incident resolution for technical issues, prioritizing based on urgency and impact
• Escalate complex issues when necessary to external contractors or other appropriate support channels
• Ensure repairs and maintenance are completed in a timely manner with minimal disruption to users
• Consider user needs and preferences when implementing technical solutions
• Participate in planning upgrades and service improvements to enhance the School’s technical capabilities
