Job Description Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Analyst – Generalist to join our innovative team at Tourmaline Oil Corp. The ideal candidate will manage complex IT environments, including Microsoft Azure cloud solutions and on-premises infrastructure, while ensuring optimal system performance and security.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise-level applications and data workloads in Microsoft Azure cloud environment
• Manage and optimize Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and Microsoft Virtual Desktop solutions
• Oversee Hyper-V environments, including virtual machine management and live migrations
• Implement and maintain Veeam Backup & Replication solutions, including Microsoft 365 backup systems
• Monitor and manage on-premises storage area network (SAN) systems
• Develop and maintain comprehensive disaster recovery plans and documentation
• Collaborate with partners to manage SQL Server and Oracle database environments
• Perform regular system updates, patch management, and maintenance tasks
• Utilize SolarWinds for proactive system monitoring and troubleshooting
• Ensure system security, compliance, and optimal performance
