Job Description Summary
The University of Nottingham in Ningbo China is seeking a dynamic International Relations Officer to lead student recruitment efforts for their UK campus. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement targeted recruitment strategies to meet university student recruitment targets for the UK campus
- Build and maintain brand awareness in designated areas of the Chinese market
- Identify new development opportunities for the University of Nottingham
- Cultivate excellent professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders, including prospective students, parents, agents, and school counselors
- Manage all stages of the student journey, from initial inquiry to registration on campus
- Collaborate closely with colleagues in the UK and report to the International Relations Manager
- Travel extensively across China (approximately one-third of the year) to attend recruitment events, visit agent offices, and conduct school visits
- Deliver counseling sessions, product training, and support to external stakeholders
- Conduct student interviews to assess academic suitability
- Provide prompt and accurate responses to inquiries through various communication channels
- Contribute to market research and provide insights on China recruitment trends
- Support the development and implementation of marketing campaigns and social media initiatives
- Assist in designing and ordering marketing collateral and merchandise
