Intellectual Property Responsibilities and Duties

Research Security Compliance Management: Develop and maintain robust systems, processes, and notifications necessary for compliance with government research security regimes, particularly focusing on export control licensing and national security investment notifications.
Reward Distribution Administration: Verify and manage the Reward to Inventors Scheme, ensuring appropriate distribution of commercialization revenue to the researchers who created the technologies being commercialized.
IP Transfer Facilitation: Coordinate the transfer process for intellectual property that Imperial has chosen not to commercialize, helping inventors who wish to pursue commercialization opportunities independently.
