Secondary Data Analysis and Crisis Monitoring

  • Comprehensive Information Analysis: Review assessments, reports, and humanitarian information products across Ethiopia to identify critical gaps and opportunities for evidence-based decision making
  • Information Management Systems: Establish and maintain sophisticated tracking systems ensuring efficient processing of internal and external information needs
  • Crisis Context Monitoring: Monitor humanitarian situations continuously, feeding insights into analytical product design and strategic planning
  • Data Synthesis and Compilation: Support response operations through systematic compilation, synthesis, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information
  • Tool Development: Create innovative analytical tools that facilitate ongoing data analysis and information sharing for evidence-based humanitarian decisions

Analytical Product Development

  • Multi-sector Analysis Leadership: Design and deliver comprehensive analytical products covering all phases from ideation to final delivery, coordinating technical support across ACAPS teams
  • Thematic Research Excellence: Lead in-depth research initiatives, ad-hoc briefing notes, and anticipatory analysis including specialized ABA workstream projects
  • Key Informant Interview Management: Conduct professional interviews with humanitarian responders and subject matter experts following established ACAPS standards
