  • Maintaining external property areas including balconies, sidewalks (keeping clear of snow and ice), cleaning main floors, outside windows, picking up litter, and sweeping sidewalks
  • Contributing to landscaping maintenance by gardening, watering and pruning shrubs, and raking as needed
  • Participating in building security protocols by checking doors and windows to ensure they are properly locked and secure
  • Reporting health and safety concerns and repair issues that may affect the workplace and residential environment
  • Restocking washroom supplies and hand hygiene units to maintain proper sanitation standards
  • Performing specialized cleaning tasks such as spot washing accessible walls, stripping and waxing floors, and shampooing carpets
  • Participating in dorm room, office, and/or classroom furniture moving when required
  • Operating industrial cleaning equipment and tools, mopping/sweeping, bending/twisting/lifting, and shoveling snow
  • Lifting items such as garbage, laundry, and other workspace-related items (not normally exceeding 25 lbs)
  • Maintaining moderate to high attention when using motorized equipment, handling hazardous chemicals, and using non-motorized equipment
  • Performing other duties as assigned by management

This position requires physical agility and stamina as you’ll be frequently operating cleaning equipment, handling supplies, and performing various physical tasks throughout your shifts.
