Job Description Summary

🌟 Marriott International is seeking an experienced Design & Project Management Consultant to join our Global Design team in Tokyo. This role focuses on delivering exceptional design and project management services for our brand projects while maintaining high standards and budget compliance.

Responsibilities

Key Project Management Duties

  • Lead and manage multiple medium to large-scale hospitality projects from conception to completion
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with owners, development teams, and regional operational leaders
  • Create detailed project schedules and monitor construction documents
  • Manage internal labor and project costs to ensure alignment with proposed budgets
  • Implement brand design initiatives on a project-by-project basis

Technical Leadership

  • Review and approve construction documents and technical specifications
  • Maintain quality control standards throughout project lifecycle
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for project success
  • Lead early project formulation and feasibility studies
  • Manage punch list and acceptance turn-over process
