Job Description Summary

The University of Leicester is hiring a Health and Safety Business Partner to lead and manage health and safety policies within the Estates and Campus Services division, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices. (jobs.le.ac.uk)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage health and safety policies across the Estates and Campus Services division.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory health and safety requirements.
  • Provide expert guidance and promote best practices in health and safety.
  • Focus on Asset Management and Compliance, while supporting areas such as Portering and Cleaning, Projects, Grounds and Gardening, Accommodation and Residencies, and Security.
  • Liaise with stakeholders to meet and improve health and safety standards.
  • Lead strategic development and drive engagement with health and safety policies.
  • Support the Director of Health, Safety, and Sustainability in implementing the university’s 5-year Health and Safety Strategic Improvement Plan.
  • Deliver training and provide coaching to colleagues to ensure a consistent approach to health and safety.
