🎯 Responsibilities

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Department of European and International Studies (EIS)
• Collaborate with faculty and school leadership to align departmental goals with institutional priorities
• Lead and develop academic programs, including a new undergraduate degree in International Political Economy
• Encourage innovation in teaching practices and curriculum design
• Support and enhance the department’s research clusters and funding bids for large grants
• Represent the department at faculty and institutional levels, managing both upward and lateral relationships
• Contribute to faculty-wide initiatives including the new Methods Centre and the Platform for Professional Education
• Guide the department’s contribution to REF 2029 and long-term research strategy
