Job Description Summary

An exciting opportunity for a passionate researcher to join the Keele Centre for Glycoscience, working on an innovative UKRI Future Leaders Fellowship project focusing on enzymatic synthesis of carbohydrates and nucleoside conjugates.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct advanced research in carbohydrate chemical biology
  • Perform multi-step enzymatic synthesis and microbiology techniques
  • Develop automated flow biocatalysis methods
  • Supervise PhD and Masters-level students
  • Attend and present at project meetings with collaborators
  • Participate in research secondments as part of the program
