Production Associate Responsibilities
As a Production Associate at Wonderbrands, you’ll be an essential part of the manufacturing process that brings favorite bread products to Canadian households. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Picking, packing, wrapping, sorting, and packaging fresh bakery products into bags and boxes with careful attention to quality standards
- Working efficiently in production/packaging areas to assemble and stack boxes onto pallets while ensuring proper wrapping for safe transport
- Conducting thorough inspections of filled packages to ensure products meet exact specifications and quality requirements
- Wrapping and stacking bread trays onto pallets and operating various production machines as needed for different food products
- Taking responsibility for equipment set-up, managing changeovers, and running production lines for various bakery items
- Assisting Machine Operators, Mixers, Oven Captains, and crew members with various production duties as assigned
- Working flexibly as an operator to monitor multiple production lines simultaneously when needed
- Covering various positions depending on vacation schedules and absenteeism needs
- Potentially assisting sanitation crews in maintaining cleanliness of production equipment and work areas
- Strictly adhering to all Food Safety protocols and Health & Safety policies and procedures
