Job Description Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Financial Controller to join our scientific projects team in Dudelange, Luxembourg. This role serves as the primary financial partner for scientific departments, managing project budgets and ensuring compliance with financial regulations while facilitating communication between financial and non-financial stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with scientists to develop and manage comprehensive project budgets
  • Oversee financial reporting for multiple research projects
  • Perform detailed budget control and compliance monitoring
  • Generate regular reports on budget consumption and forecasts
  • Prepare annual budgets in cooperation with management
  • Deliver monthly management reports and key financial indicators
  • Work closely with the accounting team on cost reviews
  • Support internal and external audits
  • Maintain backup functions within the controlling team
  • Translate complex financial information for non-financial colleagues
