Job Description Summary

The University of Cambridge is seeking an Evaluation Specialist to lead environment and sustainability-focused evaluation across the University’s collections. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of evaluation projects that unlock the University’s collections for a larger and more diverse audience.

🌿 Responsibilities

• Lead environment and sustainability-focused evaluation across University of Cambridge Museums (UCM)
• Develop, coordinate, and deliver multiple evaluation projects and programs annually
• Manage cross-collections evaluation activities
• Contribute to data-driven understanding of collections’ use and impact
• Develop and maintain internal and external partnerships
• Project management, including budget oversight
• Lead evaluation and research in the program area
• Share and disseminate best practices, contributing to sector leadership responsibilities
• Develop and enhance evaluation frameworks, particularly for environment and sustainability activities
• Coordinate, influence, and inspire colleagues across the consortium and wider University
• Deliver enhanced evaluation planning, data collection, and analysis
• Evidence achievement of outcomes to key stakeholders and funders
